Give
——
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
– 2 Corinthians 9:7
God has given each person many gifts, which make each of us unique in the Lord’s eyes. Through the sacrament of Baptism, God calls us to ministry. We carry forth God’s plan by using the gifts God so generously bestows.
When we come forward as individuals, each of us brings our own gifts of time, talent, and financial resources as an offering. Each is vital to God’s plan. Blended together we create a ministry on earth; a ministry that fulfills our church Mission.
Grateful Giving of our Time & Talents
“Now there are different kinds of gifts, but it is the same Holy Spirit who is the source of them all. There are different kinds of services in the church, but it is the same Lord we are serving. There are different ways God works in our lives, but it is the same God who does the work through all of us. Gifts are given to each of us as a means of helping the entire church.”
– 1 Corinthians 12: 4-7
